Square root: definition, table of values from 1 to 225, and a practice trainer.
The square root of a number a is the non-negative number x such that x²=a. For example, √25=5, because 5²=25.
Memorize the table: √1=1, √4=2, √9=3, √16=4, √25=5, √36=6, √49=7, √64=8, √81=9, √100=10.
Not in real numbers. In complex numbers, √(−1) = i (the imaginary unit).
